Summer afternoons lazing into evenings spent on our porch. A little knitting, a little reading, a quilted tent..... slowing the pace to laughter and family...
the sprinklers lured more than the birdies off the porch...
We had some challenges today, that led to some tears, grieving, hurt feelings, good talks, hugs, apologies, forgiveness and healing on the porch.
It ended with storytelling: the three bears, little red jacket (riding hood, Amharic style) and "We're going on a bear hunt, it's a beautiful day, we're not scared...."
All is well, our Lord is here.
