I have a parenting "tutor". :) Her wisdom, sympathy, prayers and sound ideas bring hope. So Happy Christmas...the war is over.
A little about the carol today. Written and performed by John Lennon and Yoko Ono, with the Harlem Community Chior. It was their protest song regarding the Vietnam War, when the US was deeply entrenched in the conflict. The lyric is based on their 1969 campaign when they rented billboards and posters in eleven cities around the world that read:
WAR IS OVER! (If You Want It)

It has become a Christmas standard though, and the hope of the lack of fear and war being done, the war in our hearts, the war of good against evil, with our victories Prince of Peace...that is worth celebrating.
