last weekend in October

We had a great weekend....full of family fun and fall. A trip to Apple Hill which included a pumpkin hunt, horse rides, and sweet treats. Then we moved on to pumpkin carving, dressing four darling scarecrows and trick-r-treating. Happy Fall continues...bye bye Halloween. Two gals checking out the ponies.

Mary in horsey-heaven!

they all seemed to think scoopin was the most fun
even papa had his own.
(doesn't his hair look like wolfman jack..? hee hee. Mom and I love to tease him )I wonder what a psychologist would say about us, based on our pumpkin creations?
Now for the scarecrows~
Hope you had a great weekend too....

and I love this quote....best explanation I have read:

"I know Halloween can be controversial. We've always felt freedom in Christ to redeem this day. We fill it up with friends, creativity, light, laughter, fun, food, and fellowship. We pray those things are honoring to God and bless Him on this day that thankfully still belongs to Him." - Heather Hendrick
