We went to Apple Hill on Saturday..along with everyone else in the valley! After one ranch, we were pretty discouraged and mommas wanting to go home...but we decided to veer off the main road and see where we would end up. We ended up at Honey Bear Ranch, http://www.applehill.com/site/archive/honeybear.html and had a good time. The kids were facinated with a whole pig being roasted on a turning bbq spit, did some drawing, had their faces painted and had lumch. Pumpkins, corn maze. So we had our country day. I took a map, and I think when we go up again, I will look for another off-the-beaten-path farm.
