"May Jesus himself and God our Father, who reached out in love and surprised you with gifts of unending help…" 2 Thessalonians 2:15
this verse quoted by Ann today, and she reminded me...again....of the unnoticed gifts...every day. I may have noticed only the folded edge of something nice when it happened today, but now, with Ann's reminding, I look back on today, and I see them.
- laughing co-workers having fun at work. What a concept!
- a caring soul listening and helping sort it all out.
-brothers and sisters getting along, without mom running interference
-cooking a meal they all eat up.
-a compassionate son asking, why are you stressed mom, and really caring.
- a cool, cricket filled breeze drifting in the window after dark.
- willing help.
- five women learning together, pulling for each other.
- an evening without commitments
- sweet watermelon
- two empty milk jugs (At least they all love to drink milk)
- new blue, little girl size glasses on order
All gifts felt, though maybe unrecognized fully at the moment, I can see them now.
